Recap of Ali's Birthday

Ali's birthday turned into a 3 day adventure. Her actual birthday was celebrated having ice cream and then lunch, yes in that order. I so adore our Baskin Robin's lil mini shop in the BX. She licked up every drop of her vanilla ice cream in a chocolate dipped waffle bowl. She loves it when you break off the bowl and dunk it in the ice cream as well.
Saturday we went to the other base and to the post office. We got the magical box from grandma. It was filled with wonderful gifts that Ali smiled and squeaked about. It was a fairy paradise from grandma. So, many wonderful things that we never would've found here. She was madly in love.
Sunday I baked her cupcakes and we gave her our presents. Her father set up her bed tent and she bounced and played. Then after we had dinner we sat her down with her three cupcakes that spelled her name and sang to her happy birthday. She blew out all the candles one at a time and then clapped for her self. We opened one of the cupcakes and set it in front of her. She looked at it like it was gold. After her first bite it was all quickly inhaled. After she ate about half of it, she crammed the whole other half in her mouth. She then proceed to tell us all with her mouth completely full of cupcake, "I like cupcakes." She was so freaking happy and cute. We were all rolling and laughing so hard.
Her three day third birthday was great. I sure hope Xander doesn't think he will be getting a 5 day 5th birthday. On second thought, maybe a 25 day 25th birthday wouldn't be so bad. ;)
