Muffins, Cupcakes and brownies

I've been on a muffin/cupcake kick lately. I made muffins a couple days ago, then made mini muffins the next day. Today I made 3 dozen angel food cupcakes. Top them with cool whip and they are so many less calories than regular cupcakes. Its great for my husband. Next week I get to make brownies! Though this weekend I may make more mini cupcakes. They are so yummy and easy! I'm loving my mini pan.

Meet Raina...

Raina is a super sweet brown eyed beauty. Her mommy was kind enough to let me take a few photos of her darling daughter. We played at the park and she was free to be herself. She didn't seem to mind me snapping away at her while she had fun.

And after playing at the park we all took a walk. Xander and Raina hit it off, maybe a little too well. They were so cute walking and holding hands.

Between being mommy and life

I have been so super busy. I took planned out time for me on Saturday and really enjoyed a nice spa/luncheon with the girls. Then my husband and kids took me to Fogo's a Brazilian steak house for mother's day followed by a movie. Sunday they took me bowling for a few free games. It was a wonderful weekend that has lead into a very busy week. It is early morning Tuesday and I'm just debating on where to begin for today. I have to lead my first FRG meeting this evening. I really need to spend some time cleaning, specially mopping. I promised the kids we would meet up for a play date at our park here in our Apt complex with a good friend/preschool mate.

The bad part has begun already, though. My husband, as sweet as he has been, has gotten me sick. There is no time to be sick so I am pushing on through. I can't let it slow me down, as I'm really hoping this week is the key to setting up our schedule. Wednesday we are going to be registering the kids for fall preschool and kindergarten and I can't wait!

But for my "me time" at 0340 hours, I am busy shopping. I am completely broke but a very lucky mother. I won a fabulous GC on FB to this lovely lady, Sarah's shop. She does photography for a living.(My dream for someday.) She also makes really awesome photoshop actions. Which I have been using a ton on our Preschool website and FB pictures.

Well, back to your regular scheduled programing. :)

This coming weekend is Mother's day. I mailed out my Mother's day box and card today. I made a hybrid mini album for MIL. I made a copy without the Mother's day sentiment as a freebie. I used Shawna Clingerman's By My Side kit. Here is my mini album-

Yesterday the humidity started kicking in. I haven't felt real humidity in 4 years or so. It has hit me like a ton of bricks. The only thing I can do to make it better is to take off layers. The good side to that is I get to show off all my tats. :)

Also yesterday was my baby's first day of preschool! He did great and loved it. He didn't wanna go home. I took the class photo to show the world my baby is growing up.

I got new running shorts as I believe I will be needing them sooner rather than later. :)

Been a long week

And I've missed blogging. I need to get back to it. So I'm playing catch up, sorry if this post is long.

It has been a crazy week. Had two English classes where I taught Korean kids. Had a photography club meeting where we discussed some upcoming exciting news. And my 5 year anniversary was this week.

I got a new camera bag! I got the Lowepro Slingshot 200AW. It is perfect for me with a little growing room. Fits all my lens, camera, tripod, and purse stuff.
