Case of the Mondays

I do believe I have a case of the Mondays. With hubby at duty for the day, leaves me the kids and dirty house. Colors, whites, towels, bedding, kids clothes, swiftering, wet jet time, trash, recycling, bed making, picking up, dishes, breakfast, lunch, dinner, showers, packed up all of christmas/holiday stuff, one more grocery trip, then I should be ready for New Years Eve.
I've found one common thing... bliss had the gathering sand everywhere, here has the gathering dust bunnies. Seems like they gather and multiply daily. Defiantly bunnies!

Well,

The new year is approaching. I have a few things planned for my blog that I hope will keep everyone interested in. I hope to try a few new recipes each month and share them with you. Also each month will be a new treat. I hope to pick up the tutorial thing and make more! I also plan to have more challenges :) We need fun in 2010! After all look at the numbers... looks like it could be some sorta fun smilie face.

A quick review of our family Christmas. It turned out to be a wonderful one. It was just husband and kids. Very mellow and relaxed, rather peaceful. The kids had tons of presents each. Xander loved unwrapping his and couldn't wait to dive into ones that weren't his even. Not that Ali mind, she was so distracted by each new toy. She just rather play with them, than unwrap the rest. We chilled together as a family and just spent time together. No worries of traveling or even getting dressed ;)
Hubby got me a planner from Starbucks! Even had coupons in it for free drinks. Was very useful and fitting for me. I never feel like I can have enough planners. I love my crackberry but am still old fashion enough that I love to write everything out. I need to invest in a decent pencil, probably mechanical, not big on shavings. Maybe that will tomorrow's trip out.

My Girlie Girl

Alicia is my sweet princess. She loves her dresses and curls. She is my all girl 100% of the time. If hurts you must really look great! She had to go out in the cold in a dress and tights. She wouldn't even admit she was chilly.
And of course what kind of mom would I be if I didn't capture a few photos of her. Here is my little girlie in all her glory.

She sure is my own little doll. It amazes me how some days she could sit still and be mistaken for one. Then other days she is my drama queen. I can't imagine my life without her. To think she will be 3 in three months!

You have to see this!

My fellow scrapper/designer, Jeanne Marie's Scraps, has created a kit with some great pink/brown & blue/brown combos! Works great for boy or girls or both! The adorable mice go great with the chipboard elements! Best of all, its baking themed~ I love to bake!
Go check it out at her ACOT store here!
And I loved the circle pp, and took that as my inspiration, with the cute mice of course!
With us making christmas sugar cookies soon, I'm sure you will see more of this kit!!!

Cold bites your teeth

Walking faster and faster, back pack getting heavier as the cold bites threw my teeth. That was me tonight on my way from my class I taught walking back to the main gate. Its up hill and a lot longer when your tired and cold. I made it, now I'm home and in my sweats again. Warm and settling down. The class went very very well. I may have the chance to another soon at another post :).
Holiday's are upon us and the chaos has begun. Presents have arrived from Grandma & Bill & Family and we have finished our Christmas shopping. I will start the baking very soon. Xander & Ali can't wait to open presents. The few decorations are up, but we haven't gotten a tree yet. Not exactly sure who is even coming to dinner. Could be four families could be two, could only be us. Gotta love life. I'm just thankful we are together for Christmas.
Since there is no angel tree I think we might do a gift for the Marines Toys 4 Tots program this year. No matter how our fiances are we always do an angel tree child. I hate to loose that just cause we are over seas. I'm sure it will all work out.
I think tonight we might go to bed early. Its been a long but pretty good day. :) Happy Thursday world.

My newest sharable project-

Is in the works. Its a two part thing! I'm shooting for the stars here and praying to God it pays off!
I'm making all my christmas decorations, since we moved and have nothing. I'm working on a new project and have just a touch of it done and a sneak peak! Don't get too excited, he won't look like this when done! He's not glued down at all.
This is a totally sharable project, trust me I will share it as soon as I can! BUT I have to go to the grocery store, yes grocery store to pick up some more ingredients, scratch that, supplies. This one has taken me about a week to concoct. Its a bit more difficult and time consuming that I had thought in the beginning.

Chilly but not Freezing

The temp out side that is. That or I'm finally starting to adjust. I put on my fancy coat today. Which I adore. Its a cream so I'm not as worried as it getting dirty, but is still not colored so matches everything! Got Ali in a dress and sweater, and Xander in a long sleeve and sleeveless puffy vest. I think we all looked great! We might even just have to go out again later!
As for my mismatched outfit, I'm blaming my friend Kelsy. Apparently too much of her style has washed off on me. If you wanna see me you have to look on my twitter, that way pics of me are more mysterious.

Complete over haul.....

Not only can I not decide on a design I've now decide its time to start fresh with a whole new look. I hope everyone can stand to deal with a bit of chaos, after all it is the holidays.
My son needs some chaos, apparently his life is too boring!

Ya know

what happens when you can't go to sleep? It means you will be woken up way too early. I went to bed 3 hours late, and woke up 3 hours early. That makes for very little sleep! I am in the mood to bake, but don't have the stuff. Hoping to make a trip to the grocery store tonight. Need some macadamia nuts and chocolate chips and food, lol.We are down to 3 cans of coke in the fridge, yet another reason I need to get groceries. Working on decorating a bit more yesterday. I got my favorite sign in the world. I'll have to share it with everyone next post.

I did manage to untwist the curls and find some decently clean cute clothes to put on Ali to take a few shots. She's getting much better at the posing thing. It helps that she stays where I put her and how I put her.

I was featured on KaiserCraft's blog yesterday for the third time. It is such a great feeling to be a part of something so big. You can see it here.

My wonderful spawns decided yesterday to torture mom by ripping apart every wet wipe in the house, wad them up and throw them away. They were not dirty and it was a full container. (Not my son's first time with this sorta mess) The kids got a lesson in folding and stacking after that mess.

Then Xander was compelled to out do his sister I guess. He managed to rip up his mattress cover to shreds, yesterday as well. I went in to make his bed as I just did the sheets and you would think a cat had fun in there. Needless to say his father was not happy at all.

One word Farkle. Why oh why did my husband have to make me a FB page. Now I'm on there everyday Farkling! Actually think I'm gonna head there next and play a round. Happy December.
