So I had a thought today. The past is behind us, the future is in front of us, so we must live in the present. Some days I feel so caught up in what is going to happen or what did happen I think I forget to live for today.
"The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of sixty minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is." - C. S. Lewis

My plans where completely squashed for today and I hope to make tomorrow more useful. With that, I think today will hold some fun for the kids and I if they are willing to nap for a bit first. (Cranky kids are never fun!) I'm truly hoping this works out. If so I will be pretty pleased :) and I believe they will be too.

Well today was day 7 of project 365, and all photos are uploaded so hopefully by tomorrow I will have my first layout completed to share ;) Have a wonderful day snowy world.

Books

Evan got me 5 new books as a late Christmas present. They are audio books from Itunes. I sync'd my ipod and am heaven. I've listened to the Twilight triology like 5 times and now I'm on to Time Traveler's Wife. I've tried actually reading them but can't seem to sit still. I can take this with me in the taxi, on walks, doing dishes, laundry and living. I think this is how it will go. First time I've read books since high school. Forgot how much I missed them.

I took the challenge and did the Digi Dare #161. I'm actually fairly happy with how it came out. The triadic color scheme was difficult for me. Though, I can see how using the color wheel improved my layout. Normally I stick with one kit to keep it all matching or choosing one color and mixing it with black & white. I've been really trying to get better about mixing kits so this truly helped. I used Hey Dude & Madalynn kits from Just Jessa Deisngs.

Got caught up!

On my monthly calendar pages! Woot! I hope to keep up to date on these this year. I'm varying the kits to match the months, and December became mostly Christmas as that is what it is to me. Each month looks different but will make a neat book in the end I believe.

I have started uploading the past weeks pictures for project 365. Hope to have a layout done soon with the first week. So far I'm right on track. I'm also working on my next hybrid project... which may end up in your mail box! Better watch out :)

Well its Monday

And I failed to post yesterday. I think the goal will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday posts :) Seems more reasonable.
I've been steady on my Project 365. One picture a day. I'm mixing it up and take photos of everything, just life in general. I want to catch up and keep up with my monthly pages as well.
It is snowing today... lots of it! Kids are dying to go play, though I'm not so sure of it. We don't have boots and the street is level with the sidewalk. We'll see :)

PS. I've been practicing Pachbelbel Canon. Hoping to be able to smoothly play it by my anniversary.

Happy Juice

Sorry for the late start, lets hope this is not how it will contiune!
I had too much fun and laughter and well... happy juice new years eve. Took me all day to recover.
First to start with the freebie! I'm doing 1 desktop a month. It comes in 3 sizes and made to fit pc and mac desktops :)

I'm also attempting to do Project 365. I will upload once a week, hoping to keep it steady with every Sunday, but it may vary as needed. So far I have my first two days covered with pictures that should be in tomorrow's post ;)
I'm looking forward to the new year and all that it holds. I'll be back tomorrow for more new stuff!
