bye bye january

Well it is Sunday. It is the end of another week and also the end of this month. The first month of a new year. It has been a truly interesting month. Things have changed and things have grown. I've learned project 365 is too hopeful for me and I will forever color my hair. I'm hoping soon I may go have my hair color at the salon. I think I want it dark with red highlights in a chunky style. My hair is still growing out but a lot more manageable.
After my eyebrow piercing ripped I took it out to heal. I've decided I do miss it. That one along with a few tattoos I hope to get re done when I get back to the states. I think I'm gonna make a list and start a savings for them :). I've also picked up my old habit of working out. It feels good and is good for me.
The 24 hr days my husband works sucks for us but I've stopped letting his work schedule make or break our life. We go out now even if he can't come along. We went out this evening and ended the night with pizza at home.
I did a layout about this month and how it has went. I thought it was a perfect idea for my friend Katharyn's templet.
You can get it free here- on her blog. I used On My Way kit by SAS Designs and Badsewing Machine XII- Don't be squared 2 by Traci Reed.

Three days

left this month! I'm amazed at how fast its flying by!
Well today has been productive. Which is surprising at how whiney the kids are. They must not have slept well. Both are frustrating and neither wanna nap. I'm not giving up on the nap thing. After our errand out and starting the laundry, taking down the recyclables and trash, I'm tired and ready for my nap too. Such a shame, once I get the dishes done I have two layouts in my head that need to come out before they disappear.
Usually Xander loves helping with the laundry, today he has to nap instead. But I did capture his great folding skills- (credits~ Apolgie-Designs by Leah, Doodle-SAS Designs, Don't Eat Worms World font)

Then I also did a Valentine's day layout :) SAS Designs has a new kit out- Adore. Its lovely! (I also snuck a couple elements from her two earlier kits- Today & Following Love)

Well I should get to those dishes, they won't do themselves. This I'm sure of... I've been hoping they would for days. I can be super patient when it comes to waiting for the dirty dishes to clean themselves...

Tasty Tuesday-

Well I cleaned and worked out this morning. After lunch I sanded and sprayed the last coat on my box. I can't wait to get going on this, but want it done right. I'm trying to be patient and do it well. Giving things time to dry has never been my high point. :)
Project 365 has turned more into Project 52. Pics each week, not each day. Oh well. I'm glad I at least tried it.
We are also working on potty training Ali. She is good about it during the day but still isn't that great about it at night. Xander hasn't had an accident in quiet some time. And I though he would never get it!
Xander has been learning frisbee with Evan. He seems to really catch on to it and be pretty good at it!
Ali has been playing soccer more. She's got the kicking down, pretty good at aiming even. We just have to work on the dribbling. Soccer/Football(as the Koreans call it) is big here and we can get stuff her size even! I found the perfect size ball I plan to get her for her birthday and maybe some new tennies to practice in.
Hopefully the weather will keep warming and we can get out and play more :) Our place is pretty minimal with the furnishings so we've been playing inside, lol. I'm sure our neighbors aren't thrilled with this though.
Here's a layout I've done with SAS Designs new kit called Following Love.

Well another week

has went by, the first month of 2010 is almost done! We have happily filed our taxes last night :) Love the return and can't wait to pay off some bills. Its always a relief to do it. We also are gonna get to ship our car. I've been searching about shipping our dog, but am finding it will be more difficult than shipping the dog. It may not even be possible! Its a bit... well saddening. A part of me really wants a new puppy too, but part of me wants to get Arrow here first. No clue what the future holds but I will wait and see. I saw Marley & Me last night. It was sad but good. Definitely a tear jerk kinda movie. Didn't help with the missing Arrow part!
Tony is coming over again this weekend, so I'm planning on cooking a couple times :). I got a ton of chores done in the past two days. Which was much need and helps me feel more productive. All the laundry is done in the whole house and its Friday! What a thing, normally it takes all weekend to finish it too.
I'm hoping to scrap some tonight. I've said that for the past couple nights but have yet to just make myself do it. I've got a few assignments to do, though I won't be able to share them for a bit. ;) I want to scrap but want more pictures to scrap. I haven't been doing so hot on the project 365. I'm trying but don't always remember something so simple. Seems silly to me that I could forget to take a picture. Though, it seems as that is what happens so often.
I really hope to hit up the exhibition the end of this month but am not sure it will happen. I'm also hoping to plan a trip to Anapji Pond next month. Its a tourist place but is suppose to be so worth it. I really wanna get out more, hopefully the temps will keep warming so its possible.
Off to make spaghetti for the boys. Its the kids and Tony's favorite. Evan is even starting to come around to it more! Mostly cause of the bread sticks/crescent rolls that I make with it I think. Regardless its a well loved family favorite :) Take care world!

Time surely

flies right by! I seem to run out of time each day. Well it was a long weekend which I was thankful for. As a family we went to see two movies this weekend. Daybreakers, was good but Ali didn't care for. Then last night we went to see Avatar. Xander loved it! I thought they were both pretty good. Definitely waiting to see if they come out with a Daybreakers 2. We will probably buy Avatar when it comes on video.
Well, I've been creating different pages.
I've had fun making my own scenes lately. ADSR starts first week in Feb. My partner and I are ready to go :) Counting down and looking forward to the new challenges.
